US state taxes on seller fees are not inferred. Texas transaction-fee tax has its own option; enter other known taxes as additional fees.

Uses WSN's existing Etsy fee model and country profiles, checked 6 October 2026. See the full fee calculator and assumptions. Match shop and payment-account currencies. No currency-conversion fee, income tax or prediction of sales is included.

Free, no account needed. Your entered amounts stay in this open page and are not saved or sent to WSN.

The model recalculates price-dependent fees at the discounted price, including the Offsite Ads cap. Actual invoice rounding and tax treatment can differ.

A discount changes more than the price.

Materials and making time usually stay the same when you cut the price. Some Etsy fees fall with the sale price, while fixed fees stay fixed. That is why a 20% price cut can remove much more than 20% of your profit.

The US example starts with a $40 item, $12 of materials and half an hour of work at $20/hour. A 20% discount makes the item $32. The calculator applies the selected fee assumptions to each price and compares profit after your target pay.

Formula: discounted sales needed = normal profit per order × normal sales target ÷ discounted profit per order, rounded up. There is no useful positive-profit sales target if either scenario has no positive profit after pay.

This is an arithmetic comparison, not a forecast that a sale will attract more buyers. Use your actual costs and Etsy invoice settings. Apply discounts only to a genuine normal price; Etsy's pricing guide explains its approach to pricing and sales.
